Chromicons Seven Week Icon Challenge Is Over!

Wow, that was fun! At least I thought so.

A challenge like this doesn't work unless there are participants, so I really appreciated it. I discussed the possibility of winning some points based on participation numbers and frequency and it worked out that I'd have enough so that everyone who participated would get at least 30 DW points :)

Oh my gosh, we were playing for actual Dreamwidth points?

I thought we were just playing for theoretical 'you won' points (My reading directions skills: not so hot), but this is totally even more exciting! :D

Well technically, it was about theoretical points with the possibility of DW points. Say we had 100 members participate... that would have been impossible to do this for. But since we had a regular amount of participation, and not too much of it, more people got points. I'm pretty sure this method isn't sustainable, but you never know when I suddenly come into points I can part with :)

Oh, man. I feel kind of dumb now, but somehow I got the mistaken impression that the comm was only for challenge posts, so I didn't post any icons we made that were focusing on people of color because it wasn't for the challenge.

Is it all right to make a post in the comm for those now? Last week I made some icons of Rei Shino, and a batch of Alek Wek icons the week before that.
