Chromicons

Hi - I've not so far been a participant here, but I do like the idea of some kind of challenge, and busaikko's suggestion looks good.

I'd like to throw in an extra - I run a more-or-less weekly icon challenge called severalplums, a distinguishing feature of which is that the maker of the winning icon has to write a tutorial showing how it was done. Might that be a helpful thing to incorporate with this challenge? There could be some very useful ideas to share.
